Hello. My name is Mrs. Fennell and I am very excited to be your child's teacher this year. This my first year teaching fourth grade and I am VERY excited for this school year. Before coming to fourth grade I taught Kindergarten for four years...so yes, this group of students is the same group I had my very first year as a teacher at East Allegheny. I am very excited to see some of my former students, and to see how much they have grown over the past few years! I team teach with Mrs. Lindke. This year I will be teaching the Math and Science block. Mrs. Lindke will teach the Language Arts and Social Studies block.
I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. Over the past four years I have been taking a variety of classes to keep up-to-date on the latest educational trends and to further my knowledge about the best way to educate children. I am proud to say I am an East Allegheny graduate and it is my honor to teach here.
In my spare time I like to spend time with my husband, family, and friends. I also like to travel, read, scrapbook, and shop! I also have two cats, Benny and Stanley. They are quite the characters and I am sure you will hear all about them throughout the year!
